Gunners Legend Claims Contract Rebel Wants Out as Speculation Intensifies Over Reported Bust Up

Ian Wright has claimed it is only a matter of time before Alexis Sanchez leaves Arsenal as rumours intensify over an apparent training ground bust up with his team-mates.

The Gunners legend told BBC Radio 5 Live (via the Metro) that he believes Sanchez is on the cusp of departing the Emirates Stadium, and would not be surprised if the Chile international's agent was already putting the feelers out about a transfer to another club in the summer.

Sanchez was dropped from Arsenal's starting lineup for Saturday's 3-1 Premier League defeat to Liverpool - a decision that was put down to the striker rowing with manager Arsene Wenger and his fellow players ahead of the contest at Anfield.

Despite Wenger publically denying that any verbal fight had taken place, Wright does not buy his former boss' comments and thinks Sanchez has already decided to leave.

He said: "It's when you're united as a team that this news doesn't come out,' Wright told Radio 5 Live.

"I'm not sure if money is going to keep him there at the moment, because if he's storming out of training and not playing in games [then he wants to leave].

Alexis Sanchez used to be benched for the likes of Tello & now he thinks he can step up to Wenger? Someone give me the location of his dogs

"It doesn't seem to be a problem for him when he does come on because he still performs to the best of his ability but everything I'm seeing, it's not looking good for Arsenal and him.

˜I believe his agent is probably on the phone to people now.

"We're hearing he's storming out of training and he's not playing in games like the Liverpool game “ a rival. Everything points towards he's unsettled, he's unhappy “ seems to me he wants to go."

Sanchez's future in North London has been the source of plenty of conjecture throughout the season as the former Barcelona and Udinese forward continues to stall over signing a new deal.

I stand with you, @Alexis_Sanchez. You're the kind of winner Arsenal so sorely lacks on the pitch & in our boardroom. #afc

The 28-year-old is believed to be holding out for an extortionate rise in wages - a reported £270k-a-week - but Arsenal are holding steadfast in their refusal to meet his demands.

Sanchez has been caught on camera venting his frustration at his team-mates in a match against Bournemouth late last year, as well as sulking on the bench after being withdrawn from the action in the victory over Swansea in January, and many media outlets have alleged that he is far from happy in the capital.

Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla have all been tentatively linked with making moves for Sanchez once the season draws to a close.
