Arsenal legend Ian Wright has claimed Arsenal will struggle against oppositions that adopt a more physical approach for the remainder of the Premier League campaign.

His comments come after the Gunners suffered an unlikely defeat against out-of-form Everton on Tuesday, only their secondin theleagueso far.

Thenotably combative game sawArsenal lose 2-1 after going ahead through star man Alexis Sanchez' deflected free-kick. The result leavesArsene Wenger's men six points behind leaders Chelsea, who beat relegation candidates Sunderland 1-0.

Speaking to BT Sport after the game, Wright said: "If you are going to beat Arsenal and try and take them out of their stride, you have to make the game a physical contest.

"When you watch how they played against West Ham and teams do not make it like a contest like that. They were quite nervous [Everton] until the crowd got into it and they started to get into it and suddenly it became a physical contest.

If you are going to beat Arsenal or you are going to take them out of their stride, you have to make the game that kind of game.
