Asamoah Gyan’s return to the Ghana Premier League has grabbed attention globally with the news blowing up all over the world in the last few days.

On Saturday night, the legendary Ghana striker sealed a sensational move to Ghanaian top-flight club Legon Cities FC.

In a signing which shook the foundations of the Premier League in the West African country and entire sport, Asamoah Gyan stole the limelight with the media in the country giving the deserved attention.

Subsequently, in the next 48-hours, the return to his home country to continue his career will attract further attention.

CAF and world football governing body tweeted about the move as their global audiences jumped on to congratulate or extend best wishes to Africa’s top scorer at the World Cup.
