German-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Jan Gyamerah is racing with time in hopes of making full recovery from an injury to feature for Hamburg SV in the clash against Darmstadt.
The full-back missed the team’s defeat to Hannover 96 over the weekend in the German Bundesliga 2 as a result of an adductor problem.
Subsequently, Jan Gyamerah has trained with his teammates at Hamburg SV and is now in line to return to the starting eleven of the team next weekend.
This season, the 25-year old has featured in 8 matches for Hamburg SV in the German Bundesliga 2 where he has displayed good form.
In a campaign where the team is keen on gaining promotion to the elite division, they hope to have Jan Gyamerah fully fit as soon as possible.
