Sekondi Hasaacas and Ampem Darkoa Ladies were ruthless against their Regional clubs opponent as recorded cricket scores in their Women's FA Cup Round of 32 matches played over the weekend.
Hasaacas made sure that no storm brewed at their home as the walloped visiting Storm Ladies 10-0 in their game at Essipon while Ampem Darkoa were also 7-1 winners against Supreme Ladies at the Prempeh College Park in Kumasi.
Hat-tricks from Princella Adubea and Sonia Opoku and a brace from Grace Asantewaa earned the Techiman-based team the passage to the Round of 16.
Police Ladies, managed to extract some revenge from LadyStrikers as they pip them 1-0 at the Robert Mensah Stadium, not only avenging a loss to them in the National Women's League(NWL), but dashing the Cape Coast-based team the chance to advance in this inaugural Women's FA Cup.
Blessed Ladies, demoted from the NWL at the end of last season, showed they had not lost their shine as they pushed Samaria Ladies to penalties which they eventually lost 4-5.
Basake Holy Royals from the Western Region lost 1-2 to visiting Anlo Ladies, Sunyani-based Celebrant Ladies beat visiting Beyom Ladies from Tamale 1- 0, in one of the few regional clubs clash in this competition.
Real Upper Ladies had a walkover as Upper West Region failed to line up their representatives in what would have been a local derby.
In other results, Fabulous Ladies beat Northern Ladies, Prisons Ladies also won against Kintampo Falls Ladies with Bolga Sharp Arrows also beating Subayo Golden Ladies. Immigration were also 1-0 winners over Bafana Ladies.
With the Round of 32 out of the way and the teams booking their way to the next round, they will know their Round of 16 opponents when the draw is conducted tomorrow at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) during when the official announcement of the sponsorship for the competition will also be made.
