Hasaacas Ladies FC has signed Burkinabé International Fatoumata Tambour ahead of the new season.
Tamboura joins the Ghanaian champions on a two-year deal after successful negotiations.
The 21-year-old previously played with US Des Forces Armees and was part of the team that competed in the West Africa Football Union Zone B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.
"She’s a great addition to our set-up. We saw her at the WAFU Zone B tournament and she was a standout in her team.
"We are glad to have signed her. There’s a huge competition for her to get into the first team so let’s see how it pans out" – said Head Coach Yussif Basigi.
Fatoumata scored two of the three goals scored by USFA in the WAFU Zone B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers to win group A only to be beaten 2-0 by eventual winners Hasaacas Ladies in the semifinals stage.
She’s part of the Burkinabé National Women’s team and will take part in the upcoming AWCON 2022 Qualifiers.
