Accra Hearts of Oak are not ready to release sell their priced assets, Captain Thomas Abbey and midfielder Winful Cobinna according to close sources.

The duo are reported to be wanted by a business man who wants to sign them for Kumais Asante Kotoko following their outstanding performances in the Ghana Premier League.

Thomas Abbey leads the goal kings chat with 12 goals and four assist and his contract will expire at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Winful Cobinna has been the life wire of the club with tremendous performances.

According to reports, a certain Christopher Damenya is the one interested in getting the duo for Kotoko.

A close source told GhanaCrusader.com, “We have not received any bid from Kotoko,”

“It was one Christopher Damenya who said he will acquire the services of Abbey and Cobbinah for Kotoko. But Damenya is not a director of Kotoko so it is not official. Even if Kotoko should write to us, we are not ready to sell the two players.”

The Phobians will play Danbort FC in the MTN FA Cup quarter finals on Sunday.
