Hearts of Oak appoint Portuguese trainer as Technical Director

Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak has announced the appointment of Portuguese trainer, Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto as their new Technical Director.

This follows a report by footballghana.com in the last 24 hours which indicated that the officials of the Phobians were in talks to appoint a technical director.

On the back of successful negotiations, Hearts of Oak has confirmed that they have reached an agreement to bring on board the Portuguese trainer.

“Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto is our new Technical Director.

“Welcome to the Rainbow Family”, a statement on the Twitter page of the Accra-based club has said.

Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto, 26 is expected to work with Hearts of Oak’s senior team and youth teams; Auroras FC [U20 side] and Royal Oaks [U17 side].

He has formerly worked with clubs including FC Famalicão, as well as Ethiopian giants Saint George SA.
