Hearts of Oak Board Member Herman Hesse has expressed his displeasure following the appointment of Kosta Papic as the club's new head coach.

The 60- year-old replaces Edward Odoom, who has been in charge since December 2019.

Papic returns to the club after leading them to the 2009 Ghana Premier League title.

"As I speak, I know that Odoom is still our coach because nobody has Communicated anything to me about the appointment of a new coach. I saw Kosta Papic at Accra Sports Stadium as a common supporter and nobody communicated anything to me and the supporters leader and I’m not going to lie about it," Herman Hesse told Atinka FM.

"Sometimes we also have to look at managerial and look board, we should also look at decision we take and not only changing of coaches, I’m speaking without fear or favor.

"Even if I’m part in any meeting to bring a new coach I will still say it without fear or favor that we should go for a new coach, we should also look at ourselves(Board), we should also look at the things we do wrong and not to blame coaches and blame administrators for everything no, we should also look at ourselves is very important," he added.

Veteran Serbian trainer will be assisted by Asare Bediako, while Odoom is set to take charge of the club’s youth side, Auroras.
