Hearts of Oak board member, Vincent Sowah Odotei, has called on Dreams FC to maintain their discipline and composure as they aim for the CAF Confederations Cup final.

Speaking to Joy News, Odotei praised Dreams FC for raising the flag of Ghana high in the competition and urged them to continue their impressive run.

Odotei also used the opportunity to appeal for peace within the Hearts of Oak camp, stating that the club must attain success.

He lamented the fact that despite the rich history and resources of Hearts of Oak and their rivals, Kotoko, they have been outperformed by smaller clubs like Dreams FC.

He attributed this to unnecessary politics and antagonism within the clubs and called for a big introspection to address these issues

Dreams FC are set to take on Stade Malien in their second leg clash at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday. The Ghana Premier League side beat the Mali-based outfit 2-1 in the first leg.

"What a fantastic achievement by Dreams FC I want to commend them for raising the flag of the country so high I believe that if they keep their discipline if they keep their composure they will be able to get to the semifinals and all things been equal get to the final. The lesson here which I will appeal to the supporters of Accra Hearts of Oak is we need peace we need peace to be able to attain what we have," he said

"The era for necessary politics, antagonism it won't help anyone look at the team a one man team like Dreams FC look at where they have gotten to. Look at Hearts and kotoko look at where we are our history Dreams cannot compare to us resources that we have Dreams cannot compare to us why are the one man led teams performing than Hearts and Kotoko.

"We have to sit back and do a very big introspection and you the journalist must also help when people come up with excuse or take steps which are unscientific really are detrimental to the development of the game you have to point it out to them as well. Because at the end of the day look at where Dreams FC is I thought you were going to remind me two years ago we went to Mali and we were hammered we couldn't do anything so kudos to Dreams FC I hope we draw lessons from this we will all be there to support them when they come to play home and once they get to the semifinals we will all be there to support them.

"At the end of the day if they do well it will improve our ranking and probably increase the number of slots we have we use to have four reduced to two I am sure if Dreams do well probably we will get three we are all supporting them all of us will learn lessons from that,"
