Hearts of Oak coaching job: Charles Taylor urges Togbe Afede to appoint Samuel Boadu or Prosper Narteh

Former Hearts of Oak star Charles Taylor has called on the majority shareholder of the club, Togbe Afede to appoint either Samuel Boadu or Prosper Narteh Ogum.

The Phobians are currently without a substantive coach following the departure of Serbian trainer Slavko Matic.

Earlier reports in the media suggested the Ghanaian giants are closing in on Annor Walker whose future at Samartex is up in the air after an unflattering campaign last season.

Taylor speaking on Angel TV casted doubts about the capabilities of Annor Walker in leading the club next season.

Whiles rejecting Walker, Taylor has entreated the Phobians to re-appoint Samuel Boadu or go in for Prosper Narteh Ogum who left Kotoko after guiding them to the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title.

“Annor Walker can’t contain the pressure at Hearts of Oak. He won’t last even six months.

He can’t coach Hearts of Oak, Togbe should bring Samuel Boadu or Prosper Ogum” he said.

Hearts of Oak endured a torrid campaign in the just-ended season after finishing 12th position with 46 points.
