Hearts of Oak have disclosed that midfielder Sulley Muntari will miss the Hearts of Oak game because of medical advice.
Reports from various online outlets on Friday morning speculated that the veteran midfielder has asked to be left out of the Phobians squad for this weekend’s game against Aduana Stars for personal reasons.
Having taken notice of what it says is false, Hearts of Oak have through a press release provided clarity.
It stresses that Sulley Muntari is to miss the Aduana Stars based on medical advice.
“The decision to exempt Sulley Ali Muntari from the game against Aduana Stars is based on medical advice after he picked a knock in our previous game and not his personal decision as being speculated,” a release from Hearts of Oak said on Friday.
Hearts of Oak take on Aduana Stars on Sunday, March 13, 2022, in a matchday 20 encounter of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
