Hearts of Oak defender Samuel Inkoom says he will venture into player management when he calls it a quit.

The former Black Stars player has had an illustrious career, featuring for the Black Stars at both World Cup and AFCON and also winning laurels.

Inkoom played a huge role when the Black Stars reached the finals of both 2010 and 2015 AFCONs respectively. He was also part of the 2010 historic World Cup squad.

He earned a place in the Black Stars after a stellar performance for the Black Satellites team that clinch the U20 World Cup for the first time Africa history back in 2009.

In an interview, the former FC Basel star asserted he will venture into player management at the expense of coaching when he finally retires as a professional footballer.

“I will not venture into coaching. I would love to be in player management because I have realized that is where we are lacking in our game. I want to impact what I learnt abroad on upcoming players. As a player, you need to be always spot on and that is how the white does their things. So in future, this is what I want to do”
