Hearts of Oak are reportedly eyeing a move for Niger international Zakari Victorien Adjé Adebayor to augment their squad for the on-going 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.

Adebayor has been on the radar of the Phobians for sometime now as they want to boost their attacking options after losing their first two matches in this term.

According to a report filed by Kumasi-based radio station FOX FM says the board chairman of Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afedi is ready to break the bank to sign the highly-rated attacker before the transfer window closes on January 13.

The 23-year-old has made two appearances and scored once for Inter Allies in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season so far.

The youngster joined the Inter Allies prior to the start of the truncated 2018 Ghana Premier League season from AS GNN Niger for an undisclosed fee.

He was a member of the Niger national team that participated in the 2017 WAFU Cup and 2019 WAFU Cup staged in Ghana and Senegal respectively.
