Hearts of Oak is no more a traditional team - TT brothers

Former Hearts of Oak board member Isaac Tetteh, popularly known as TT Brothers has urged supporters to accept that the club now belongs to majority shareholder Togbe Afede XIV.

The Phobians have been in the news for various reasons after exiting the 2022 CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Hearts needed to overturn a three goal deficit from the first leg in Mali but struggled to find the back of the net, until the 89th when Caleb Amankwah scored the game’s only goal.

"Hearts of Oak is no more a traditional team, it's not for the people of Accra, neither is it for the Ga People."

"Hearts of Oak is for someone and the supporters must wise up," Tetteh told Asempa FM.

Hearts of Oak board member Vincent Sowah Odotei and National Chapters Committee (NCC) chairman for the club Elvis Herman Hesse were involved a heated argument which saw seen in a video that sent viral.

The duo was arguing with each other at the VVIP area following the club's elimination from the CAF inter-club competition.
