Hearts of Oak midfielder Nurudeen Abdul Aziz signs contract extension

Hearts of Oak midfielder Nurudeen Abdul Aziz has extended his contract with the club.

The new contract is until 2025, Hearts of Oak announced on Friday, December 16, 2023.

This come as a huge boost for Phobians who are keen to extend contracts of players whose contract are expected to expire in the coming days.

A statement from the club reads, "The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak is pleased to announce that Abdul Aziz Nurudeen has extended his contract to 2025"

The enterprising midfielder is currently out of action due to injury. He had a successful surgery in South Africa in October to correct a thigh injury.

The combative midfielder got injured at the latter stages of last season but managed to complete the season.

He played an instrumental role as the Phobians defended their FA Cup title after beating Bechem United in the final.

Nurudeen has managed just 24 matches for the club since joining Hearts of Oak from Vision FC in 2020 due recurring injuries.
