Hearts of Oak secure license from CAF to participate in 2022/2023 Confederation Cup

The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has granted licenses to clubs that will be participating in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup competition.

Ghana’s representative, Hearts of Oak have been granted a license and is cleared to feature in the competition.

This is contained in a press release issued by CAF on its official website on Monday, August 15, 2022.

Ghanaian giant, Hearts of Oak qualified for the upcoming edition of the CAF Confederation Cup after emerging as champions of the MTN FA Cup last season.

After being granted the license by CAF, Hearts of Oak must now work on having a home venue approved.

At the moment, the options available include the Accra Sports Stadium and the Cape Coast Stadium in the Central Region.

Already, the club has intensified training as part of preparations for the challenge that lies ahead.
