Hearts of Oak's Bernard Arthur plays down loan move to Olympics

Hearts of Oak attacker Bernard Arthur has rubbished reports suggesting that he is heading to Accra Great Olympics for a loan spell.

The former Liberty Professionals winger has been with the Phobians since the Ghana Premier League season started but he has failed to break into the first eleven.

Looking unlikely to get that starting position, there has been speculation that he has been shipped out of the Rainbow club to look for regular playing time elsewhere.

Having heard the news earlier this morning, Bernard Arthur has taken to his Facebook page to squash the reports. He posted, “Sorry man, get your facts right, I don’t go on loan, I leave”.

In line with that, it has given an indication that the forward will remains at Hearts of Oak for the remainder of the season before probably considering a permanent move in the next transfer window which will likely come around at the end of the season.
