Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Samudeen Ibrahim has revealed his ritual ahead of Kumasi Asante Kotoko games.

The midfielder insists he talks to former Accra Hearts of Oak winger Bernard Don Bortey ahead of every kotoko game to seek inspiration for the super clash.

Samudeen Ibrahim who is rediscovering the form that endeared him to the fans of the club indicated Don Bortey tells him tales of how they handled their fierce rivals and that was to him a morale booster for Kotoko games.

“Personally, anytime am in camp for a game against Asante Kotoko, one person I always talk to is Don Bortey, he inspires me with stories of how he toiled for his presence to be felt in those big games,” he told Spice FM.
