Sports director for Helsingborgs IF, Andreas Granqvist has backed new signing Benjamin Acquah to excel at the club.

The Swedish Superettan side on Wednesday afternoon announced that they have completed the signing of the Ghanaian midfielder on loan from Ebusua Dwarfs.

Speaking on the team’s latest acquisition, Andreas Granqvist says it will be interesting to follow the midfielder who he believes can give a lot to the Swedish outfit.

“Benjamin is a young and exciting player who we partly wanted to take a closer look at and see how he gets into our environment but who we also believe can contribute on the field already during this year,” the Helsingborgs IF sports director said as quoted on the website of the club.

Andreas Granqvist added, “We managed to find a good solution that suits all partners and it will be exciting to follow his journey.”

Meanwhile, Benjamin Acquah has expressed his delight after finally teaming up with his teammates at the new club.
