Holland coach Dick Advocaat believes Ronald Koeman would be capable of succeeding him.
Sacked by Everton last week, Koeman immediately confirmed interest in taking the Holland job once Advocaat walks away next month.
And the Oranje coach says Koeman could handle the post.
He told Voetbal International: "I have always said: if someone of Koeman's calibre is free, the KNVB must take him right away .
"If the KNVB asks me, I would highly recommend him."
