Hot Property! Liverpool and Arsenal Leading the Race for Celtic Star's Signature

Liverpool and Arsenal are leading the chase for Celtic striker Moussa Dembele according to reports from theDaily Star.

The 20-year-old French player has impressed for the Scottish side this season scoring 17 goals in his 30 appearances.

Dembele only joined Celtic in June 2016 when he signed a four-year contract after moving from Fulham. His recent successes in Scotland have reportedly led to a lot ofinterest from clubs in the Premier League.

Although Liverpool and Arsenal lead the race to sign the striker, it is also thought that Manchester City are also interested, having seen him play against them in the Champions League this season. Dembele scored twicein the 3-3 draw at Celtic Park in September.

Manchester City also have bargaining power in the form of loanee Patrick Roberts, who is likely to extend his loan deal with the Scottish club for a further year.

It is likely thought that if Celtic sell the striker to Manchester City, then City will allow Dembele to stay for a further season with the Bhoys before moving permanently toCity.

Jurgen Klopp is allegedly a fan of Dembele and wants to bolster his attacking options in January as Daniel Sturridge is currentlyout with a calf problem. This is further hampered as Sadio Mane links up with Senegal in January to play in the African Cup of Nations.

It is further deemed that Celtic value the striker at £20m. Dembele was out of contract when he signed for the Bhoys and Celtic only had to pay a development fee for the player.
