Huddersfield, Leeds eyeing Granada defender Sverrir Ingason

Huddersfield Town are eyeing Granada defender Sverrir Ingason.

The Sun says the Terriers and Leeds United are in a scrap for Iceland defender Ingason.

The Granada centre-back, 23, has a £2 million release clause which the Yorkshire rivals are both willing to meet.

Ingason moved to the La Liga outfit in January but the terms of his contract mean he could leave within six months for a bargain fee.

Huddersfield have been tracking him since his days at Lokeren in Belgium when he played regularly for their first team.
