The 23-year-old sadly picked an injury at the Black Stars training on Wednesday in Dubai ahead of the tournament.

Nuhu was expected to make the final list to the tournament following a marvelous season with St. Gallen in the Swiss Super League, scoring a goal in 15 appearances.

According to the youngster, he wasn't affected by the snub as he was prepared to work hard and come back stronger.

"I didn’t really felt bad at all. I accepted it in good faith and was ready to work hard and come back stronger," he told footballmadeinghana.com.

"Thanks to my club, the management, the coaching staff, medical team, and the players for their support throughout these hard times," Nuhu added.
