Black Stars striker Inaki Williams says he always have bad luck playing against Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo.

Barcelona will be without the Uruguayan international when they face Athletic Bilbao on Sunday due suspension.

The Ghana international has always struggled playing against the tough-tackling defender.

Inaki is set to benefit from his absence in the much-anticipated encounter at Camp Nou on Sunday night.

Speaking ahead of the game, the 28-year-old forward asserted he has always had bad luck playing against Araujo.

“Araújo’s absence? I always had bad luck because he watches me, and his level is amazing. One of the best defenders in the world, and you watched how he stopped Vinicius, who is considered one of the best dribblers in the world,” he said.

“Barcelona will certainly miss him, but their team is great and there are players with great experience,” he added.

The Ghana international has been a key asset for Bilbao this season, racking up five goals and four assists in all competitions.

He has been named in the Black Stars 25-man squad for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Angola later this month.
