I am confident Asante Kotoko will win the 2023/24 Premier League title – Kalo Ouattara

Asante Kotoko striker, Kalo Ouattara says he remains confident that his new side will win the upcoming 2023/24 Ghana Premier League title.

The 22-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors from Berekum Chelsea where he established himself as one of their key marksmen last season.

He scored five goals and contributed five assists in as many games in his maiden campaign in the Ghanaian top flight with Berekum Chelsea.

“Last season was my maiden season and I have learned a lot of things and I know I see improvement this season, ” he told the club’s Media.

“For the league, I am 80 per cent sure that we can win the league. The coach has been taking us through drills and we are preparing well.

“I have my qualities the other players have theirs too so when we put ourselves together we can we the league.

"I can’t say I’ll score 30 goals at the end of the season, but I would do my best to help the team win the league.”

Asante Kotoko are currently having their pre-season activities at Beposo in the Ashanti Region.

They have augmented the side by the acquisition of Henry Ansu, Samuel Asamoah, Yahaya Dawuni and others.

Kotoko will open their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League with a home game against Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium.
