Hearts of Oak midfielder, Sulley Muntari has revealed that he harbours the ambition of helping develop young players at the club.

The former AC Milan and Inter Milan midfield ace has signed a one year deal with the Ghana Premier League powerhouse in the ongoing season.

Muntari made his debut for the Phobians on Sunday in their 1-0 defeat to Accra Great Olympics in the Mantse Derby at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Speaking in an interview, the former Portsmouth midfielder said he is looking forward to working with a promising squad.

“It is a good team that is very young, a young technical team as well," Muntari, a former Black Stars midfielder told the club website.

“There is ambition there and me deciding to join the league also means I want to be able to help the young ones.

“Guide them in the right path even though the coach is there.

“I can also help,” he added.

Muntari will be hoping to continue to make an impact when Hearts of Oak travel to Tamale to play RTU in the matchday 17 games.
