I enjoyed my time with both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak – Edward Afum

Striker Edward Afum has opened up playing for the two most glamorous clubs in Ghana, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.

The 34-year-old featured for the Porcupine Warriors before departing to join rivals Hearts of Oak.

There has been numerous argument in the country as to which club is worth playing for in Ghana.

The debate has been wrangling on as to among the two most glamorous clubs in Ghana. Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko which is worth sacrificing a football career for.

Afum has added his voice to the debate and according to him, he benefited from both teams during his stint with them.

Speaking to Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Afum, who is currently without a club expressed he enjoyed playing for both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak during his spell.

“I enjoyed playing for both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak. I was satisfied with the treatment meted out by Kotoko and Hearts. I had good spell with both teams, so I was happy” he said.

Afum is currently unattached and is yet to confirm his retirement from football. It is unknown whether he will return to active football or calls it a quit.
