Samuel Boadu has revealed that he has been eyeing to coach Hearts of Oak for the past years.

The enterprising gaffer has joined the Phobians on a three-year deal after parting ways with Medeama SC.

Speaking at his unveiling at the World Trade Centre in Accra, Boadu promised to put forward his best in achieving the Phobians’ dreams,

“I would like to thank the President and board members of Hearts of Oak for letting me be part of this beautiful family.

“I would like to say may God bless them because I’ve been looking for this opportunity for quite long and this is the time.

“I am proud to call myself the head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak. I will do my very best and work very hard for the club,” he said.

Samuel Boadu was the coach for Ghana Premier League rivals Medeama SC for close to four years before resigning on his birthday last week.

He is expected to lead Hearts in their final game in the first round of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League at home to WAFA SC.
