I have what it takes to lead Dreams FC to Africa – Coach Karim Zito

The head coach of Dreams FC, Karim Zito has disclosed that the club is keen on representing the country in Africa after winning the MTN FA Cup.

In the final of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup, the Dawu-based club defeated King Faisal 2-0 on Sunday, June 18, to be crowned Champions.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Coach Karim Zito expressed his excitement, adding that achieving the Cup success was not easy.

He further indicated that with his experience, he has what it takes to lead Dreams FC to play in Africa.

“Inshallah we will go to Africa to represent Ghana. I have played the African Cup before and now as a coach, I know what it takes to build a club for that tournament so we will go,” Coach Karim Zito said.

The MTN FA Cup win has qualified Dreams FC to represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup in the 2023/24 football season.

For a team that has a lot of young players, it is expected that the side will reinforce the squad of the team for the Africa campaign.
