Brazilian born American midfielder Benny Feilhaber has showered praises on Ghana forward Latif Atta Blessing for his outstanding performance in Sporting Kansas City’s 3-2 win over Chicago Fire on Saturday evening.

The former Ghana Premier League MVP grabbed the match winner to extend Sporting Kansas City’s unbeaten home run to twenty in regular season.

However, it is not Latif’s goal that excites his teammate Benny Feilhaber but his dance moves when he is celebrating a goal.

The 32 year old American is happy with Blessing’s quick acclimation to American football.

“I think that he feels more at home, he knows that he’s allowed to do the things that he knows how to do and feels comfortable being able to provide that for us.” He said after the game.

“That goal, I don’t know if it looked easy or not for you guys but that’s a difficult skill to just be able to deftly touch it like that and keep it away from the goalie and put it inside the post,”

“I think the things that he’s doing for us just brings an added factor, a different approach when he gets the ball than a lot of the other guys. He’s kind of an x-factor for us, that’s important for us going forward so it’s great to see him getting goals, having fun, doing his crazy dances at the end of the game,”

“I like seeing those dances, cause that means we got the three points so a good night for him.”

Benny Feilhaber, a veteran of American football was part of the USA team that was beaten by Ghana in the 2010 world cup in South Africa.

His pass created the penalty won by the Americans which was scored by Landon Donovan.
