‘I made a general statement not referring to Hearts’- Sadick Adams clears the air

Ghana striker Sadick Adams has clarified a statement which was published on his social media page on Thursday.

The former Asante Kotoko forward took a swipe at clubs who focus on branding rather than ensuring the welfare of their players.

He took to his Facebook page to express his dissatisfaction which some fans misconstrued to have been an indirect jab at Accra Hearts Of Oak.

“Just because people are making so much positive comments on branding doesn’t mean you should focus on that more than the players welfare”…Focus on the players welfare and what you can make them become or what they can become in the near future without begging…We don’t eat branding????‍♂️??” he wrote.

However, Sadick Adams has cleared the air regarding the controversy, insisting the post was meant as a general statement and not as a dig to any particular club.

”i made a general statement. I was not referring to Hearts of Oak. I have been misquoted. I didn’t mention any club in my post” he told FootballMadeInGhana.com
