Yaw Annor signed for Obuasi-based AshGold on a three-year deal yesterday after a brief spell in Europe on the back of his impeccable display in the 2016 MTN FA Cup.
He revealed how he got the chance to play at the professional level, the AshGold new signing paid respects to Tom Strand.
Tom Strand, formerly of Medeama SC and Accra Great Olympics managed Bechem United in the 2014-2015 season, where he discovered and gave Annor his chance to play professional football.
Speaking to Sikka FM the AshGold player said
“Tom Strand promoted me to the senior team of Bechem United after watching my first training match,”
Strand was in charge of Medeama SC for their CAF Confederation Cup campaign during the Ghana Premier League 2015/16 season.
