Sports Writers Association of Ghana [SWAG] president, Kwabena Yeboah believes Asante Kotoko have the players to win the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

Mariano Barreto's men have been magnificent in the second half of the campaign.

After 254 matches played, the record Ghana Premier League champions sit on top of the league with 45 points.

According to the ace sports broadcaster, the Reds in a good position to win the top-flight.

He stressed that they have in possession good players but must be sharp upfront to convert their chances.

"I watched Hearts of Oak against Elmina Sharks and I thought Hearts look very very sharp, they are quicker to react and I think their finishing is improving, between Hearts and Kotoko I think Hearts looks slightly sharper at this stage," he told Kumasi based Oyerepa FM.

"Kotoko have the material, brilliant defensive, midfield but the finishing is problematic.

"My candid objective Professional view is that Kotoko is slightly ahead of the other teams in terms of experience, the way they contain their opponents.

"They are occupying the top, I will be surprised if they don't go the full distance to win the league," he added.

Kotoko will welcome WAFA to the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in the matchday 26 games on Saturday.
