Speaking to the media team of AS Roma ahead of the team’s encounter against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday, the teenager opened up on how he struggled when he first joined the club.

According to him, things are now better and he is ready to continue putting in the efforts to develop his game.

“I still have a long way to go and I will do my best to improve even more. Even if I don't score, I want to help the team win. Young people? Everyone must make their contribution. At first it wasn't easy for me, but now things are going well,” Felix Afena-Gyan shared.

The forward missed out on selection on Thursday when Roma lost 2-1 to Bodo/Glimt away from home.

He is confident the team can overturn the tie in the second leg of the Conference League scheduled to be staged in Rome at the Stadio Olympico.
