New Black Stars defender, Kingsley Schindler has reacted to his national team call-up ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification match against Angola.
The FC Köln midfielder who can also play in defense was invited by new Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton on Monday to replace injured right back Tariq Lamptey.
Today, the Twitter page of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) used a post to welcome new boy Kingsley Schindler.
“𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞, 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐫,” a post on the Twitter page of the Ghana FA said.
Reacting to the welcome post, the player said he is proud to be finally home.

The Black Stars of Ghana will face their counterpart from Angola tomorrow in the first of two matches to be played in this international break.
The game will kick off at 4 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
