In-form Ghana forward Joseph Paintsil assists two goals, scores 5th league goal to help Genk to record big win

Ghana international, Joseph Paintsil was in outstanding form on Tuesday evening and helped KRC Genk to thump Westerlo 6-1 in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

The in-form winger today started for his team as the side hosted the matchday 13 opponent of the ongoing 2022/23 league campaign.

Just seven minutes into the first half, Joseph Painstil was presented with a fine opportunity and took advantage.

He fired a shot at goal that found the back of the Westerlo net to give KRC Genk the lead.

With the host in control of the match throughout the first half, the team scored four more goals as Joseph Paintsil provided assists for Paul Onuachu and Daniel Munoz.

In a game that ended 6-1 for KRC Genk, the Black Stars asset lasted 80 minutes of the contest.

He now has five goals and three assists this season after playing in 10 matches in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
