Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu is looking forward to the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

The Nsoatre-based club will represent Ghana in the upcoming Confederation Cup for the first time in their history after beating Bofoakwa Tano to clinch the FA Cup title on Sunday.

Speaking after the game, Konadu, who joined the club before the start of season expressed optimism about his sides chance going into the Africa campaign.

“Let’s see what happens. We always believe in ourselves and we know what we’ve got and once is football, anything can happen” he said.

Nsoatreman FC came from behind to beat Bofoakwa Tano in the final played at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Despite both teams creating numerous opportunities, neither could find the back of the net during the additional 30 minutes, leading to a tense penalty shootout.

Nsoatreman SC held their nerve and emerged victorious with a 5-4 scoreline, sparking jubilant celebrations among their players and supporters.

Nsoatreman FC will receive an amount of GHC180,0000 after emerging as winners of this year’s FA Cup campaign.
