Injured Adam Kwarasey a doubt for Vålerenga’s clash against Odds BK 08

Ghanaian international Adam Kwarasey has been ruled out of Vålerenga’s clash against Odds BK in the Norwegian Eliteserien next week.

The former Black Stars goalkeeper missed the team’s opening day game against Sarpsborg 08 today due to an injury he is carrying.

At the end of the day, his team managed to bag all 3 points after winning by a goal to nil.

The 32-year-old has just 6-months on his contract with Vålerenga but reports suggest that it will be extended to cover the entire football season in Norway.

With Vålerenga set to take on Odds BK on Matchday 2 of the Eliteserien next week, Adam Kwarasey is racing ahead of time to ensure he fully recovers.

The experienced goalkeeper is hoping to mark his debut in the season in that game to convince his club that he still has the quality and deserves a contract extension.

Last season, he made 18 appearances for the club out of 30 games and pulled off impressive performances in most of the games.
