Ghana international, Nicholas Opoku is set to miss Amiens SC’s match against Chambly in the upcoming weekend as a result of an injury he picked in his last time out.

The centre-back suffered a knock and as a result has a problem with his knee. Although the medical team of the club say it is nothing serious, the Black Stars player is sidelined for at least a week.

Due to that, Nicholas Opoku will not be in action later this afternoon when his team takes on Clermont Foot in the French Ligue 2.

In the same way, the utility defender will have no part to play for Amiens SC when the team plays against Chambly on Saturday.

Nicholas Opoku, 23, joined the French Ligue 2 outfit last summer in a loan deal from Italian side Udinese to ensure he gets to play regularly to help his development.

Since the start of the 2020/2021 football season, he has excelled in various defensive positions and is currently regarded as one of the top players at the club.
