Ghanaian international Joseph Aidoo is doing well following his injury scare in Celta Vigo’s goalless draw game against Atletico Madrid at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday, club teammate Rubén Blanco has confirmed.

The former KRC Genk center-back picked up a knock late in yesterday’s Spanish La Liga fixture when ended up on the receiving end of one of Diego Costa’s nasty challenges.

Whiles there were fears he could spend some time on the sidelines, Celta Vigo goalie Rubén Blanco has revealed that the Black Stars defender is doing fine after subsequent checks at the end of the match.

Blanco shared, “I think it's fine, that it is a temporary injury, it has nothing important”.

Joseph Aidoo is expected to fully recover for Vigo’s next La Liga match against Espanyol on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at the Estadio Municipal de Balaídos.
