Injury woes persist for Darmstadt as Braydon Manu sidelined again

Bottom-placed SV Darmstadt 98 faces another setback as Braydon Manu, their offensive player, is sidelined once more due to injury.

The club confirmed on Friday that the Ghanaian attacker has sustained a small muscle tear, forcing him to miss the upcoming home match against SC Freiburg on Sunday afternoon.

Throughout the season, Manu has battled with various injury woes, hampering his consistency on the field. Despite recently making a comeback and securing a spot in the starting eleven for two consecutive matches, his resurgence has been cut short yet again.

The extent of his absence remains uncertain, leaving Darmstadt with a crucial gap to fill in their lineup.

With only four appearances in the Bundesliga this season, Manu's absence poses a significant challenge for Darmstadt as they strive to climb from the bottom of the table.

Braydon Manu joined SV Darmstadt in June 2019 from Hallescher FC for 200,000 euros. His current market value is 1,500,000 euros according to Transfermarkt.
