Allies and Hearts played out a very entertaining game at the El Wak Stadium on Monday despite fears  of a possible postponement due to a heavy downpour.

The Phobians came close on a number of occasions but goalkeeper Kwame Baah denied them as well as his opposite number Benjamin Mensah stood tall to deny Allies.

"We wanted the win badly but getting one point is not bad,"  said Inter Allies coach Prince Owusu after the game

"Everything we planned towards the game worked and my boys gave out their best.

"If any team should have won this game, i believe we should have won it because we outplayed Hearts."
