Inter Allies sign former Kotoko defender Agyemang Badu to strengthen squad

Former Asante Kotoko defender, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has completed his move to Inter Allies FC on a short term deal, footballghana.com can report.

The centre-back who can play in a defensive role last week was linked with a move to join the Capelli Boys to augment their squad for the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

After successful talks between representatives of the player and officials of the club, he has officially sealed his move today and expected to be registered next week when the second window opens.

“Inter Allies FC is pleased to announce the signing of versatile defender Emmanuel Agyemang Badu for the rest of the season.

“The former Asante Kotoko center back adds quality to our squad, adding depth to the options in an area of the squad the technical had targeted for strengthening.

“Having played in the Ghana Premier League with Kotoko, predominantly at center-back, Agyemang Badu is expected to bring his rich experience to the team, Inter Allies FC announced on Tuesday.

With Inter Allies FC sitting bottom of the Ghana Premier League table, the club hopes the acquisition of Agyemang Badu and other players will help improve the team and turn things around soon.
