ISL side Aizawl FC sign Ghanaian defender Joseph Adjei

Indian Super League side Aizawl FC have completed the signing of Ghanaian defender Joseph Adjei from AFC Champions Al Malkiya FC.

Adjei penned a two-year deal with the club after passing his mandatory medicals and completing the formalities.

The move, which was brokered by Ibrahim Sannie Of AM-I sporting, comes with mouthwatering financial  packages for the former Wa All Stars defender.

Aizawl FC confirmed their capture of the former Ghana U-20 star on their social media handles.

"We have bolstered our squad for the 2019-20 I-League campaign with the addition of Joseph Adjei, who has put pen-to-paper on a contract with the club for the ongoing season. Welcome Adjei!," the club posted.

He has previously played for Bahraini side Al Malkiya, Omani giants Al Oroubah Sports Club and USL side OKC Energy.
