“It was a blessing to share the same pitch with you” – Enoch Adu Kofi pays tribute to Ibrahimović as he retires from football

Ghanaian midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi has paid a glowing tribute to Swedish great Zlatan Ibrahimović after calling it a quit in football.

The former Inter and AC Milan star recently announced his retirement from professional at age 41, bringing to an end one of the modern era's most glittering careers.

Adu Kofi played against the veteran striker during his spell with Swedish club, Malmo FF when they played Paris Saint Germain.

In a social media post, the Ghanaian international shared a picture of himself battling Ibrahimović in a game whiles expressing delight in playing against him.

“It was a blessing sharing some of your career in soccer with you, it was a privilege to play on the same pitch against you, it's was an honor to share moment with you legend, your legacy lives on enjoy your retirement @iamzlatanibrahimovic” he tweeted.

He scored 511 goals for clubs including Paris St-Germain, Manchester United and both AC and Inter Milan, winning league titles in four countries.
