The gaffer and his charges played as the host to the capital-based club at the Accra Sports Stadium today for a clash in the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

At the end of a fierce contest, a strike from Michael Yeboah has condemned Asante Kotoko to a defeat.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu says it was a tough game against the opponent.

“It was a difficult game. The first half we didn’t look good but we came into the second half and started doing the basic things. We have taken lessons from this and will work on them,” the experienced gaffer said.
