Italian Sensation Manolo Gabbiadini Is Loving Life at Southampton After Latest Award

He could well be a contender for the signing of the season award, despite joining the Premier League just halfway through the campaign, and now Manolo Gabbiadini has an award to his name.


The Italian striker was namedthe Under Armour Player of the Month for February, which is voted for by Southampton fans, after he scored five times in just three games since arriving from Napoli during the January transfer window.

Speaking on theSaints'official website, the 25-year-old said, "I'm very pleased. It was important for me to make a good start and when it comes from the fans it makes the award even more important


"I'm pleased I'm scoring goals at the moment because the fans are part of football so they're very important to me and when the harder times come, we will get through them together.It's impossible to choose one moment or one game. I've enjoyed every moment."

The Italian international registered two strikes in the EFL Cup final against Manchester United and has a third wrongly ruled out for offside in the heartbreaking 3-2 defeat.
