Ex-Tottenham Hotspur midfielder now SKY Sport pundit Jamie Redknapp has slammed current Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino for subbed midfielder Dele Alli off during their 0-0 draw against Bournemouth in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off.

Redknapp described the decision as 'unbelievable' as Frenchman Moussa Sissoko entered the field for the English attacking midfielderas they had a dull affair at the Vitality Stadium. The 20-year-old is second in the scoring charts for the North-London club and is key to the Spurs attack.

To his amazement Redknapp said:"I couldn't believe he took off Dele Alli today. Unless there is some kind of injury. He's a goalscorer, he plays in that number10 role. Iknow he's having a lot of games at the moment but he's the one player that could have unlocked the door today."

Dutch signing Vincent Janssen is yet to get the goalsso far this season, but Redknapp does think he'll start getting the ball past the white line sooner rather than later: "It's not happening for Janssen at the minute. I think it will, he's a good player. He had one opportunity, he lacks that bit of confidence."

Dele Alli has startedeight Premier League games so far this season and has helped his side sit joint top of the Premier League table, but have taken their foot off the pedal in recent games, having drawn the previous two games 0-0.
