Jennifer Cudjoe set to be inducted into A&M College Athletics Hall of Fame

In a remarkable achievement, Ghana's football sensation and Black Queens midfield star, Jennifer Cudjoe, is on the verge of etching her name into football history.

This time, the gifted midfielder is poised to receive one of the highest honors in American collegiate sports, as she gears up to be inducted into the esteemed A&M College Athletics Hall of Fame.

Cudjoe, who just joined FC Nordsjaelland in the top division of Denmark, spent some time at the university where she had great success in sports.

The 29-year-old midfielder joined the club on a one-year deal and is expected to play a huge role for the Danish side in the Women ‘s league.

Cudjoe has most recently played in the best American soccer series, the National Women's Soccer League, where she turned out for NJ/NY Gotham FC.

In addition to being chosen to the NJCAA All-Region team in 2013 and 2014, Cudjoe is recognized for earning the 2014 National Junior College Athletic Association Region II Soccer Player of the Year award.

The former Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies midfielder will be among those honored at the induction ceremony, which will take place on September 22–23, 2023, at Red Robertson Field in America.

The college's official statement reads:

“Meet class of 2023 NEO Athletic Hall of Fame inductee Jennifer Cudjoe. She attended NEO from 2013-2015. At NEO, she won the 2014 National Junior College Athletic Association Region ll Soccer Player of the Year and was named to the NJCAA All-Region team in 2013 and 2014.

“Join us to celebrate her on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11am in the Calcagno Family Ballroom. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. RSVP to Eric Iverson at [email protected].”
